Nike Air Foamposite Pro (pearl white / black / true red)

The EPIC shoe arrived friday!...i have been waiting for these to re-release, but it seems that this years retro model has a more yellow tint to the pearl, and the version released a few years back had a more rich white pearl look to them, either way i had to get them!!

Originally developed for Anfernee Deon "Penny" Hardaway from the Orlando Magic back in 1997. Innovative Foamposite Material made for performance is unique in that it doesn't use stitching to hold the form together! In order to make it even more stable is uses a carbon fiber plate on the sole.  Incredible Innovation...

Industrial Design Process

Assignment was to design an image that represents the Industrial Design process.
  1. Problem Statement
  2. Research
    1. Incubation
  3. Ideation
  4. Design Development
  5. Implementation
First I researched the design process various industrial Design companies undergo while they are given  job. Most Industrial Design Companies will have a process they follow to design solutions to your needs.

After research I came up with various styles that represent the Industrial Design Process.
After a few ideas, i use my top 2 and continue to redesign and create a final design.
Using these 2 designs, i finally decided on one design to represent what I think the industrial design process is.

Tear Down-Hamilton Beach Single-Serve Blender

Another Tear down with similar objectives as the previous with the addition of identifying the function of the actual piece/mechanism within the product. Actually quite interesting to see how many parts have similar materials and processes to make the whole product work.

Tear Down of a Microsoft Wireless mobile mouse 4000

Before GF1 so pictures aren't the greatest!!!....(Spring 2010) Product Tear down, assignment in first Industrial Design Course, Material and Processes. Purpose was to Tear down a mouse and identify all the components, the process used to manufacture each component, and the material each was made of.

After the Tear down, we had to create a layout board and physically mount the parts to the board so that anyone could put the product back together!

Let the Journey Begin

This is where my blogging journey begins!

I recently Bought an amazing Camera, Panasonic GF1, it's a bit pricey, but worth every penny! A few Photoshop adjustments (shadows/highlights and levels) i was able to take pictures like a pro (or i would like to think!) Many more images to come as i become more proficient with this Micro Four thirds Mirror less DSLR.

Thanks to the people over at dpreview.com you can view a full detailed review on the Panasonic GF1
